After a series of line-up changes, When hope escapes is complete again. WHE was formed in october 2007, only consisting of 3 members, Erwin, Maarten and Jeffrey. They had been looking for a 2nd guitarist and a drummer for months when after many weeks of waiting and many auditions that hadn't improved anything they found Carlo. Thanks to him things got sorted out, and they were able to write new songs. That's where Yannick came in the picture. It only took Yannick a couple of weeks to decide to quit his former band and start playing with us. So finally in march 2008, WHE was complete. But in June 2008 the band decided - after weeks of discussions - to part ways with Jeffrey, after this hard decision they had to find a new screamer. And they found him in Eddy! After several months of performing along with Eddy, WHE parted ways with him. The new voice became Martijn, who had been in Pretty Girls Don't Sleep in Coffins, and stepped up from Rockfest 2009 on. Things look bright for this five-piece, and summer brings new songs and new sounds for all of you. Let's get ready for a great Summer, it's time to move on. Facts: We played and shared stages with bands and friends as; Campus, Dividing the Line, The Handshake Affair, Norma Jean, Alesana, Reasons, A Fallen Regret, Random Conflict, Exit on The Left, Horse The Band, Silverstein, ...
