After last year's first edition of Leviathan Fest (featuring ABORTED, FIRST BLOOD, CRIMSON FALLS, RAFFLESIA...) turned out to be a succes, we decided to go for it and set up a second edition in 2012. This year, Stay Heart Bookings will be co-operating with Genet Records to bring 6 bands to the stage at Zaal Ravelingen in Knokke-Heist on Friday 3 August .

VERSE (US // Bridge Nine Rcs. )
After two years of being broken up, Providence, Rhode Island’s VERSE are back! Apparently they missed making music together so much they just had to reform. Not only will they be playing shows again, but they will also be recording a brand new record in 2012. Soooo excited these guys are back on track, even more excited they will be headlining the second edition of Leviathan Fest!
RISE AND FALL (BE // Deathwish Inc. )
From "Hellmouth", over "Into Oblivion" to "Our Circle Is Vicious", RISE AND FALL have risen to become the biggest band Belgian hardcore currently has to offer. In March 2012, their fourth full-lenght album "Faith" was released and now they are coming to present it at Leviathan Fest 2012.
SOUL CONTROL (US // Bridge Nine Rcs.)
SOUL CONTROL are not only Bridge 9 label mates of VERSE, they also hail from the same city of Providence, Rhode Island. People witnessing their performance at Ieperfest 2011 know what’s up. SOUL CONTROL are a punk band, nothing more, nothing less.
RITUAL (DE // Reflections Rcs.)
Completing this package are from Recklinghausen, Germany. These guys have made a name for themselves in the European hardcore scene by touring relentlessly and just playing good, solid hardcore music. They toured Europe last summer with SOUL CONTROL, and are about to embark on an Iberic tour with OATHBREAKER. This year’s Leviathan Fest is all about friends, fun and hardcore!
MAUDLIN (BE // Genet Rcs. + Offerandum Rcs.)
Heist locals MAUDLIN have slowly but surely made a solid name for themselves in the Belgian and European underground music scene. Their previous full-length album "Ionesco" was critically acclaimed everywhere, and now they are set to release a follow-up soon!
OATHBREAKER (BE // Deathwish Inc. )
Another band with local roots that grew to become one of Belgium's finest hardcore exports. The release of the album "Maelstrom" on Deathwish Inc. last year got them the European attention they deserved, touring the continent with bands such as RISE AND FALL, CONVERGE, HIEROPHANT and RITUAL.
